THE IDEA
The cut and the innovative mix of materials ensures that the model PRONE 600 fits better in the prone position than a ‘normal’ shooting jacket. The shoulders and sleeves are cut specifically for the sling position.
The sleeves are cut high but not too high to pass the ISSF test, when arms must be held at the side. In the leather version the left sleeve is made of stiff canvas but the rest of the shell is made of 1st class cowhide leather.

THE DESIGN
The neck is cut lower than the other models and the upper back soft area is extra wide to avoid pressure in the neck. The front of the sleeves and the neck panel are made of tough leather.
The rear of the left sleeve is made of double 1.2mm canvas, just like the X.9 model, keeping the shooting sling well in place. The remainder of the jacket is less stiff than the X.9, using the same inner lining but an outer shell of 0.9 mm fabric.
In the prone position extreme stiffness, as provided by the X.9 jacket, is not needed below the shoulders area.
GOOD FOR KNEELING, TOO!
The 600 Prone is a great choice for 2-position shooters shooting kneeling and prone, too.
