The AKTIV Handstop allows the shooter to have the optimal balance between where the handstop is in contact with the correct part of the hand and where the stock rests on the palm.
Fixed handstops mean that the rifle if the handstop sits in the web of the hand, the weight of the rifle is set over the thumb.
Alternatively if the weight of the stock is over the palm of the hand, the handstop will rest against the index finger knuckle causing the hand to twist.
The AKTIV Handstop has 22mm of adjustment either side of centre, making it the most adjustable in that dimension.
